My name is Laura and I am a graphic designer based in Brooklyn, NY.
After receiving my BA in History from Smith College, I rediscovered my childhood aspiration of becoming a designer and graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2016.
My knowledge of history brings a perspective that helps me appreciate the foundational components of design and their balance of artistry, strategic problem solving and creative exploration of ideas. This ability to connect people with the world around them, both past, present and future, is why I love design.
I’ve lived in New Mexico, Oregon and New York City, diverse cultures that have shaped who I am today. I’ll passionately talk about all three places as well as design, pop culture, US history or about how terrible I am at cooking, anytime.
